Removing unwanted elements;

Original

When the light is right, the expression is right and a photo opportunity presents itself when it is unwise to ask the subject to strike a pose, like when they are crossing the road, (wide eyed terror is not a good look, even in a candid), it is often difficult to eliminate inclusions and distractions in the framing. With a bit of forethought and some image manipulation however, a visit to the local A&E unit can usually be avoided. Removing, or even replacing unwanted elements, makes for a better balanced and altogether more pleasing result.
